Below are quick instructions for how to change passwords for devices and popular websites:
- iPhone: By default, iPhone doesn’t require users to enter a passcode to unlock it. To Set a Passcode: Choose General > Passcode Lock and enter a 4-digit passcode. To Change the Passcode: Choose General > Passcode Lock and tap Change Passcode, then enter the current passcode and new passcode.
- Android phones : Android has three options for password protection: 1) Pattern Unlock – drawing a pattern usually on touch screen mobile phones; 2) PIN Unlock – create a 4 digit number usually preset in mobile setting; 3) Password Lock – set security by locking your through a strong password with a combination of alpha numeric and numerical and special characters. To Password Lock go your home screen then click on the Menu. Now navigate to the Settings and select Security. Now select the Screen Lock options and follow the instructions to lock your device.
- Facebook : Click Account at the top of any Facebook page. In the drop down menu that appears, select Account Settings. Scroll down to Password, click the “edit” link. This will take you to a screen where you are prompted to enter the old password followed by the new password. click Save
